Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya


You might remember earlier pictures of this museum on the flanks of Montjuic Hill. Here is the central cupola, absolutely magnificent!

Wonderful photo of great beauty. I wonder who the artist was - reckon he'd have had a stiff neck craning upwards to paint that.
It's stunning, then again, most of the old works are.

Not being familiar with very many European museums, I find this unusual and stunning. Looks more like a fancy cathedral and a museum!
