This is what is commonly called Gaudi's masterpiece, Casa Mila, better known as La Pedrera, the stone quarry. A view of one of the staircases. More info here.

Is it a building with flats? I saw a TV program once, with a woman who had a very pretty and unique flat in a building that looked very similar.
Anyway, a beautiful place and photo.

I love la pedrera - visited it in 2004 and spent ages just wandering around and up on the rooftop among the chimneys. Thanks for sharing this lovely pic. I love Gaudi's buildings anyway. He rocked even if he was a bit weird. the mark of genius I guess!
Catherine.
