Barrilonia, house of the rebels
Barrilonia, the house of rebelling people, is a very colourful house on the Rambla del Raval, near Botero's Cat.
The name Barrilonia is a contraption of barrio, neighborhood area, and, of course, Babilonia, Babylon.
The house itself is a kind of political art and workshop center (here is their website, for those interested, in Catalan). It seems to be very cosmopolitan.
Several interesting graffitis on the house front, particularly this one.

6 people made us smile:
I love street art, especially when it is as beautiful as this. Certain to brighten up a neighbourhood. At first I thought it was some kind of tapestry.
That's some posh graffiti on the metal door! Your blog header photo is like a Spring break dream vacation! We're doing a "stay-cation" this Spring Break - in balmy, tropical, exotic, posh South Eagan!
Neat painting. I sure wouldn't have called it graffiti, but one man's art is another man's graffiti I guess.
Beautiful pics of Barcelona..

How interesting! I don't think I'd want to meet those angry-looking people in a dark alley, though.
Oh I really like this!
