The MS Hamburg, on her maiden voyage. Well, not quite, really... Formerly known as the MS Columbus, it was built 15 years ago, but has just changed owner. Right now, it is coming from Nice in France and is on it's way to Malaga, Lisbon and Hamburg, where it will be officially christened 'MS Hamburg' on June 7th. It is a small ship, which allows it to go to smaller places than her giant cousin in the back of the photo the Norwegian Epic. I'd rather go with the smaller one...Or even better, steering my own sailing boat.
On the menu today? Hamburgers, I suppose.

Wonderful nautical image, the yellow trim on MS Hamburg (nearly typed Hamburger!)looks fabulous against the white and the blue of the water. Not that I'm going on either (too much deep water) but if I was, it would be the smaller one also.
I'll take any boat, big or small.
Très belle photo. Mais je préférerais un petit voilier...
Oh oui, moi aussi, Ciel!
I remember watching some yachts in Fort Lauderdale some 25 plus years ago. I was taking pictures and asked one of the yacht owners what it cost to fill his ship with fuel. He said about $40,000 (can you imagine what it would cost now?)....
